What do we see? What do we hear?
Jesus asked whether we really see and hear our lives at all, whether we even have ears to hear and eyes to see. When we do truly perceive the meaning of our lives, when we listen deeply to our days and nights, how do we see God loving us into fulfillment, into the abundance Jesus promised (Jn 10:10)? It has been my question both in the darkness of alcoholism, cancer, sin, and suffering and in the daily sunrise of God’s grace. It is also my question each time I take a photograph: how are your face, relationship, family, event, or activity the arena of God’s loving you and yours into life? I seek to express that gift of God in madoc’s photography, to look through the lens of my cameras for the sometimes hidden beauty of our lives.
